Expedite Expo’s Annual Driver’s BBQ Dinner to Benefit Cincinnati Children’s Hospital

Donations offer the gift of hope and a bright future to children and their families

Immediately following the close of Expedite Expo on Saturday, July 26, at 5:00pm, come and enjoy hot-off-the-grill burgers, dogs and brats, at the annual Driver’s BBQ Cookout – and offer the gift of hope to children being treated at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

ExpeditersOnline.com, Truckers United for Charities, and TA/Petro have joined forces to sponsor this event. Kick back, relax, eat and recap the Expo with all the new contacts you’ve made. The food is free, but Expedite Expo is asking for donations to benefit the non-profit Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

This fundraiser is especially personal to Kristy Lohre, trade show manager for On Time Media, the company that produces and manages Expedite Expo.

“My 17-year-old daughter Katie recently spent six months at Cincinnati Children's Hospital fighting AML Leukemia,” Lohre shared. “Today, Katie is cancer free, and we’ll continue to follow up with Children's Hospital for the next two years, because after two years she will be considered to be at zero risk for the cancer to return. Katie will be starting her senior year of high school this year and cannot wait for band season to start up, as a member of the color guard and winter guard at her high school. This day wouldn’t have been possible without the exceptional medical team at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital!”

Lohre added: “Your donation could help other families, like mine, experience this same joy and hope, knowing that their children are in great hands.”   

Expedite Expo, the only trade show in the world focused exclusively on the expedited trucking industry, will be held July 25 and 26 at the Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio. The show times for both days are 9:00am - 4:00pm EDT and registration, admission and parking are all free!
