EXPEDITE EXPO 2011!!!!!!!!
The largest expedite show in the United States starts setting up 4 days from today, and the show starts in 5!
I know, all you keep hearing about is the Expo, but it is a big thing! Its the one thing that we look forward to every year. We get to see friends that we don't normally get to see, and see the new goodies that have come out for trucks. Its the one time of the year, that most people put aside their differences and come together to show that the expediting community is a close knit family.
The next week will be very busy for Nick and I. I have dillegently been working on the slideshow for the "Vans 101" workshop that is now scheduled for Saturday morning at 8 am. I would like to thank Jack Berry for helping me by providing me with information a links to threads on E.O. Even though he will be unable to attend. I am hoping that this years van workshop will be as successful as last years. Thank you again to everyone who advocated for it to be put back on the schedule.
Two years ago Nick and I talked to a couple after the "Round Table" workshop, that was intrested in expediting in a van. About 6 months later we ran into them on the road. It was a great feeling to know that we helped someone get into the business, and to this day they are still out here. We talk to them every now and then and they are succeeding.
You can gain a lot of knowledge, have a great time, and meet a ton of great people. We hope to see you there.
