Expedite Expo: The Place to Be

The Roberts Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio , is the place to be July 22 and 23 for the 11th annual Expedite Expo.

The event is America’s largest expedited trucking show , and this year’s edition promises even more fun.

With more than 100 exhibits and a wide range of events and entertainment, the show offers something for everyone.

“We will have a broad range of exhibits and information services,” said Expo Manager Lawrence McCord. "There will be a lot of things to see and do."

Several lucky visitors to the Expo will go home with a little extra spending money in their pockets as well. There will be a total of eight $100 cash giveaways — four on each day of the show. At 4 p.m. each day, a $1,000 cash prize will be given away to a lucky winner. A $1,200 Espar Heater also will be given away at the show.

New for 2011 is the TruckPro Seminar Series, a hands-on seminar for truck maintenance and safety issues. Presenters will be working live with attendees on a truck parked right on the trade show floor.

Workshops

A total of 11 driver workshops are planned for the two-day expo, covering a range of topics — from maintenance to insurance to vehicle financing. These sessions are free, and they give Expo attendees an opportunity to hear from experts with information that can make a big difference in a driver’s bottom line.

Truck show

Once again, Expedite Expo attendees will be treated to a unique display of antique trucks. Sponsored by Old Time Trucks magazine, the show will feature classic trucks from all over the United States. A wide variety of years, makes, and models will be on display.

New trucks

With so many owner-operators, fleet owners, company drivers and industry executives gathered in one venue, it only makes sense that the Expedite Expo features the nation's top expedited truck dealers who exhibit the newest and most innovative truck equipment on the market. Dealers typically utilize the Expo to give potential buyers a good long look at their new models.

Entertainment

There will be plenty of fun to go around with Expo entertainment including Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, the Amazing Portable Circus and a performance by Jungle Jack Hannah featurng animals from the Columbus Zoo.
If that weren’t enough, Dave Nemo will be broadcasting live from the Expo both days, and Pixar voice legend John Ratzenberger also is scheduled to appear.


Drivers’ Choice Awards

The 2011 Commercial Insurance Solutions Drivers' Choice Award will recognize the best of the expedited trucking industry ’s best — with Expo attendees as the judges. Attendees can vote for their favorite dealer's truck. Your ballot is also your chance to win one of the two $1000 cash prizes.

The Drivers' Choice Award will be presented 4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the close of Expo.
