Calling LOCAL truck drivers

We are a family owned and operated trucking company with a 48 state operating authority. We are looking for drivers to run from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to Myerstown, PA and Frederick, MD. Loads are all dry bulk and we use gravity flow to load and unload the tanks. We offer year round work and pay by the load so you determine how much you make.

Responsibilities and Duties:

*Operate a tractor trailer to pick up and deliver dry bulk materials
*Follow a predetermined schedule of pick up and delivery (single drop and return); maintain short haul (exempt) logs. No ELD required!
*Ability to maneuver and back truck in a safe manner
*Ability to operate dump valves
*Ability to complete required documentation
*Inspect truck equipment and supplies as required, including lights, brakes, fuel, oil and coolant, raising hood, climb to clean windshield and mirrors
*Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

Physical Requirements:

*Meet Department of Transportation medical, drug and alcohol qualifications
*Operation of vehicle up to 12 hours per day depending on schedule, 40-60 hours per week
*Cranking dolly legs on trailers when hooking up and dropping
*Open and close valves to handle material
*Climb 3 feet with steps to hook airlines
*May be required to work in adverse weather

Requirements:

*Class A CDL
*21 years old-minimum
*DMV records 3 years back
*6 day work week
*Mandatory weekends

Experience:

*1 year preferred
*Manual Transmission
