June 2025 SOLO Straight Truck Dedicated Smyrna TN $1300/week

We will have an opening in June 2025 for a solo straight truck driver willing to stay out long periods for this dedicated account with a larger automobile factory. Drivers will be on the first shift that starts at 6:30pm until 4:30am driving 3/4 of a mile 11-15 times an evening moving product from one building to another, usually less than 24 miles per day. Our drivers must be available for 5 to 6 days a week, Starting Monday mornings. This is a two-year contract, so we are looking for a solo driver, preferably, but not necessarily, living near Nashville/Smyrna Tennessee area.

Our drivers are paid 65% of the daily linehaul flat rate and are responsible for the fuel, DEF and IFTA quarterly fuel tax and occupational accident protection. Drivers are averaging around $1,300 per week after paying for fuel. We pay out weekly. There is no lifting, but drivers are required to get in and out of the truck at each delivery. Must be proficient at backing up these 40-foot box trucks. Orientation is virtual and is only 1/2 day.
 
Drivers must have a CDL Class A or B and have 6-12 months or more over the road experience. Expediting experience preferred but not required. Sorry, no pets allowed on the property.

The truck is a 2017 Freightliner with a Bolt Custom sleeper with a large bed, large refrigerator and separate freezer, microwave, TV (DirecTV with HBO and NFL the Ticket). The truck is an automatic and the truck has a Carrier APU to reduce idling and save you fuel money.
