Famous Supply is hiring Non CDL Local Box Truck Drivers in Youngwood, PA. Non-CDL Drivers at Famous Supply make deliveries to customer shops and/or job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Each morning, the driver’s route for the day is uploaded onto a company-provided Smartphone that navigates the driver to each stop. Drivers are responsible for assisting with the loading of their truck and reviewing orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. Driver associates assist in the warehouse when needed.

Famous Supply is a fourth-generation, family-owned wholesale distributor of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) products, plumbing products, industrial/pipe, valves and fittings (PVF), building products, and LED lighting in Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Famous supports the residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional markets for new construction, replacement, repair, remodeling, parts, and service.

Compensation

• $18 per hour with 45 average hours weekly
  • Wages negotiable based on experience
• Overtime pay after 40 hours
• $500 Employee referral bonus program
  • $150 paid after 90 days employed, $350 paid after 1 year employed
• Annual bonus opportunity
• Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home every night
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends!
• Shift: Start time between 5:00 and 5:30 AM
• Route: No more than 150 miles of Youngwood,  PA
• Level of Touch: Load & unload using pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate
  • Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers

Equipment

• Late model 26 ft box truck with lift gate
• Automatic transmission
• Dual facing cameras & backup camera

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have some truck driving experience
• No DUI/DWIs in last 7 years
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Forklift, warehouse, building industry, and RF scanner experience are a plus!
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Youngwood, PA or be willing to relocate for this position
